  • Main Airline: The airline using CargoAi platform.

  • OAL Airline: A partner airline with an SPA.

The module supports two types of bookings:

  • Involving only OAL airline.

  • Merged route involving both Main and OAL airlines.

💡 Search and booking are using API connection.

How to search and book?

Step 1: Perform a search

At the top right begin typing the freight forwarder's company name or IATA CASS code (e.g., Schenker or 123456) using the office field. It will automatically provide matching suggestions.

Then, fill in:

  • Origin and destination

  • Cargo dimensions

  • Cargo type

Once the search icon turns purple, click it to initiate the search.

💡 The system uses predefined gateways and connection time rules to generate merged route options when applicable.

Step 2: View route options

After the search, you’ll see two types of routing options:

Option 1: OAL flights only

  • Shows available capacity for OAL flights only (e.g., LIS → JFK).

  • Ideal if the main airline manages or has already booked the first leg.

  • Booking is for the OAL segment only.

Option 2: Merged route (Main Airline + OAL Airline)

  • Combines capacity from both airlines to offer a full route.

  • Example:

    • Main Airline: DXB → LIS

    • OAL Airline: LIS → JFK

  • The system automatically connects the two legs for a seamless routing and booking.

Step 3: Booking process

💡 Based on your selected option, you will be redirected to the following page:

📦 For merged route flights:

  • Booking is made under the Main Airline's AWB.

  • API creates a booking that includes all route segments.

  • Example:

    • DXB → LIS (Main Airline)

    • LIS → JFK (OAL Airline)

📦 For OAL flights only:

  • Booking is also made using the Main Airline’s AWB.

  • API handles the reservation directly with the OAL airline.

✅ Once booking is successful, a confirmation will be returned.
