Q: Why do we already receive some event updates in the tracking update, even before these events have effectively happened?

A: We can receive planned events along the shipment journey in advance depending on carrier capabilities. In those cases, we receive these events before they actually happen.

You can identify these events planned in advance by either checking at the event date, that will be later than your actual time, or by checking the "is Planned" flag that will be set to "true".
