My bank requires an invoice to send a wire transfer. Will I receive one?

Yes. When making a top-up, you will receive a top-up request, which can be used as an invoice with your bank for the wire transfer.

Are there any transaction fees for withdrawing funds from CargoWALLET to our bank account?

Yes, payouts to bank accounts incur the following fees:

  • For payouts below $3,000, a $5 fee is deducted.

    • Example: If you withdraw $1,000, the recipient receives $995 after fees.

  • For payouts of $3,000 or more, there is no fee; the full amount is transferred

Are there any fees when topping up CargoWALLET?

No, CargoWALLET does not charge a fee for top-ups. However, your bank may apply its own charges.

Are there any fees for transferring funds to another CargoWALLET member?

Yes, a $3 fee applies for each transaction between CargoWALLET members.

Why is my payment not appearing in my CargoWALLET transaction history?

If you made a payment as a "guest payer" before registering for CargoWALLET, it will not appear in your transaction history but will be recorded on the recipient’s side. However, after registration, the transaction will be linked to your account.

How does the payment to agents work in CargoWALLET?

There are two payment options:

  1. You can top up your CargoWALLET account and then pay your agent using your CargoWALLET balance (prepaid method).

  2. You can pay your agent directly from your external bank account via credit card or bank transfer.

A flat fee of $3 applies to both methods.

What payment methods are available for adding funds to CargoWALLET?

You can top up your CargoWALLET account using a credit card, international bank transfer, or local bank transfer.

How do I add a new user to CargoWALLET?

To add a new user:

  1. Go to "Company & Office Settings."

  2. Select the correct office where the user should be added.

  3. If you are an admin, click "Add User" on the Office Management page.

If the user still does not appear, check admin permissions or contact support+wallet@cargoai.co for assistance.

Why can't I invite a user to CargoWALLET?

Possible reasons:

  • The user may already have an active invitation (valid for 15 days). A new invitation cannot be sent unless the previous one has expired.

  • You might not have admin permissions. Check "Company & Office Settings."

How can we restrict CargoWALLET access without affecting CargoMart access?

To prevent CargoMart users from accessing CargoWALLET while retaining their CargoMart access:

  • Do not remove their CargoMart roles (e.g., Operations, Sales, etc.).

  • Assign them only the "Starter" role in CargoWALLET, which limits access to payments.

How do I know my funds are safe with CargoWALLET?

How does CargoWALLET work with Reserve Bank approvals in South Africa

CargoWALLET accepts international bank transfers and credit card payments from South Africa.

  • Credit card payments are instant, but they incur a 3.1% fee.

  • Bank transfers take a few days to process and are free on our side, though your bank may charge fees for the transfer.

Once funds are in your CargoWALLET, transactions are processed at a $3 fee per transaction.

Does CargoWALLET work in China given foreign currency controls?

Yes, CargoWALLET allows you to load money in China while supporting cross-border transactions in compliance with regulations. While China has strict foreign currency controls, our system is designed to facilitate transactions within those guidelines.
